Category : ATL, Design, Event, Fashion

KTC and SOAP Goods Creative have partnered to present Iris van Herpen: The Future of Digital Fashion, a panel discussion with the curator of the High Museum of Art’s first fashion exhibition, Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion.

Sarah Schleuning, the High’s Curator of Decorative Arts and Design, will lead the panel discussing the curation of the new exhibit and the future of fashion locally, globally and digitally with Atlanta designers Abbey Glass, Regina Weir, and digital manufacturer, Anastasia Nicole.

Van Herpen’s one-of-a-kind haute couture combines traditional craftsmanship and innovative technology, including some of the world’s first examples of 3D-printed fashion.  The exhibit will feature pieces from 2008 through 2015, including designs that inspired styles created for Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, and Björk.

Join us and be among the first to learn more about the iconic exhibit “Wilderness Embodied” at General Assembly on November 2nd from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm.
